Have been thinking about doing this for a while and now i have taken a plunge :)
Starting yesterday, i have embarked on a 20month Executive MBA program journey from Pepperdine. It was a difficult choice, but think it is a the right one for me.
We just kicked off yesterday @ Malibu, certainly one of the most beautiful campuses in US, or may be in the world. We plan to be here over the weekend and be back on a once-in-3week-schedule @ TechMart in Santa Clara. Will surely miss this place. BTW, had a great run today morning....some spectacular or should i say breathtaking views.
The faculty are open, friendly and knowledgeable, both academically and practically. We are just getting kicked off and getting introduced - more about that in the future. The course content itself seem very applied - the way it should be, in my view. My fellow students are great. They bring in wealth of experiences from very diverse fields and are and supportive. We are a small team and we hope that this would be conducive for a great learning experience.
So, here i a am, off to a 20 month intellectual run.
More later on some of my learning and perspectives....

Goal: 26.2Miles, accomplished!
Time 4:13:07
A 2009 New year's resolution complete - only 9 days late!
This is no organized Marathon - since i could not find one to fit my "already late newyear resolution timeline" had to do it all alone in any track possible! And that was a challenge in itself.
Would have loved to do it under 4:00, but, the last 4 miles was brutal. I am yet to upload my Garmin data - would be interesting how the timing was in the last 4-5 miles.
As usual, a great deal of epiphany occurred while i was running. This is what happens when you run 4+ hours and let your mind roam free... The beautiful scenes of the misty coyote hills with the backdrop of the east bay, inspires me a whole lot, every time, i run in this trail. Back to my epiphany to the day ....

I continue to challange myself
After a long thought out debate with myself - i have decided to blog! - About Running, Technology & Metaphysics. Let me start with running.
I am runner.
My first long run was a 10K, which i ran when i was in 11th grade. Since then I have been running on and off. In the last year i have pounded the asphalt 500 Miles, give or take a few. Guess i can call myself a runner.
Back to today...
Just finished my longest run to date. 22Miles. It was gruelling towards the end. Specially 19-22. Thanks to "GU Energy Gel", i was able to pull it thru. 2585 Calories in 3:23 mins sure needs some replenishment :)
Hey, did i tell you that Garmin 405 is the best! It is my personal motivator, trainer, tracker and more. What would i have done without it!
My goal was to finish a marathon - 26.2 my 2009. The year has come and gone. But i hope to pull in a last minute (weeks in this case) late paper submission.
Can i do 26.2 by next Sat....
Will check in next week with news!
